Matthew Schroeder's debut CD Signal is a collection of solo acoustic fingerstyle guitar music. Produced by prominent Minneapolis producer Dan Schwartz, this CD features eight original compositions played on six string, twelve string and lap slide guitar.

Also included are Schroeder's arrangements of Little Martha by Duane Allman, and Steamboat Gwine 'Round de Bend by John Fahey. The solo pieces are complimented by renowned musicians Dan Chouinard, accordion; Joe Savage, Pedal Steel; Jeff Victor, Organ; Enrique Toussaint, bass; and Marc Anderson, percussion.
